Charleston Christmas Parade – The 30th annual Christmas Parade rekindles one of Charleston’s most cherished occasions, as floats, marching bands, and a cast of colorful characters marches magnificently through the heart of a celebrating city. The grand spectacle brings crowds flocking along beautiful Marion Square and past the historic facades of King and Broad Streets, following the same parade route on which the Marquis de Lafayette was cheered by Charlestonians in 1825, when he made his triumphant return to the city for the first time since offering his service during the Revolutionary War.
